Marcello Visconti (brief CV)


Marcello Visconti has a BSc in Informatic Engineering from Universidad Tecnica Santa María, Chile; and a PhD in Computer Science at Oregon University (USA). He is a full professor at Computer Science Department of Universidad Tecnica de Santa Maria (Chile), and his research interests are related to Software Engineering, Software Quality and Development Process Models. He is author of several scientific articles of his speciality.

He has participated and leadered international and national research projects. He is a qualified evaluator of S:PRIME and has been consultant at private enterprises. He was organizer and member of the Program Committee of many events related to Software Engineering, and is a member of the Sociedad Chilena de Ciencias de la Computación, ACM and IEEE Computer Society. He represents Chile at CLEI International Organization.

Francisco J Pino (brief CV)


F. J Pino has a degree in Electronic and Telecomnunication Engineering (Universidad del Cauca, Colombia) and a specialization in Networks and Telematics Services (Universidad del Cauca). He is a PhD student of Informatics at Universidad Castilla-La Mancha (Ciudad Real, Spain). He is member of the reseach group IDIS at Universidad del  Cauca and member of the research group ALARCOS at Universidad Castilla-La Mancha. He is also member of the GT 24 de AENOR (Spain). His research interests are related to quality and software development process focuses in small enterprises. He has published some chapter books and articles in journals like Software Quality Journal, IEEE Computer, IEEE Latin America Transactions. He is author of papers included in Conferences and Congresses such as SAC'09, ICSP'09, CibSE (2008-2009 editions), ICSOFT (2007-2008 editions), JIISIC (2005-2008 editions). He is associated professor at the Facultad de Ingeniería Electrónica y Telecomunicaciones (Faculty of Electronic and Telecomnunication Engineering), Universidad del Cauca, Colombia.
